Bro Michael T Tucker, passed away May 2009, bro Mike although had left the province prior to passing away, was still thought of respectfully. He had for many years supported PGL and other groups within the province.

 

Bro Tomas George Elliott ROH Passed away Saturday 27th December 2008, bro Tom was a member of the Lion lodge No 2316, in Newport. Bro Tom was the Provincial Grand Primo in 1985; he attended PGL Kt Chapter for several years, and very recently had not been a regular visitor due to ill health. Bro Tom was for many years a regular at the Cross lodge and represented both lodge and province on many occasions.

 

 

 

 

Bro Derek Harding ROH, passed away November 2007,  bro Derek a long time secretary of the Cross Lodge, will be missed by all members.

 

Bro Eddie Powell ROH passed away September 2006. Bro Eddie was a member of the Sir Douglas Haig Lodge 2509, initiated into the lodge and gaining all degree in the lodge, leaves his wife Margaret.

 

Bro J Corbett, passed away August 2006, member of the Sir Douglas Haig lodge 2509, will be missed by all the members.

 

Bro Arthur W J Rideout R.O.H. passed away after lodge on the night of Sunday 18th December 2005, having suffered for some years with heart problems, until recently the secretary of the Ken Wellyn lodge for some 25 years, member of PGL since becoming a primo. Member of the Ken Wellyn Lodge No 2860, Pontypool.

P.G.P. 1996, Carried out officers duties every year, filling in where any vacancy occurred, PGL book examiner for many years, secretary of the minor lodge for over 25 years, a PGL trustee for some years, also attended Knights Chapter, Examining Council and the ROH Ass.

Bro Arthur will be missed by all.

Bro T. Stephens K.O.M, Member of the Swan Lodge No 9845, Caldicot, had been in a retirement home for some considerable time.

Bro Eric Osment R.O.H, Honorary member of the Sir Douglas Haig Lodge No 2509, Rogerstone. Bro Eric was the city treasurer for over 30 years, served in HM forces during WW2, gained all his degrees in the same lodge, province funeral marshal for 30 years, will be missed by all who knew him.
